  Ministry Update- An Overview...

We are currently at the Center for Intercultural Training in Union Mills, NC for pre-field cross cultural training.

What are we doing here?  Here is just a sample of the topics we are covering...  DISC Personality Profiling, Mind Mapping and Learning Styles, Transitions, Worldview, Ethnocentrism, Ethnography and Research, Cross Cultural Communication, Animism, Spiritual Warfare, Economics, Truth, Contextualization, Roles, Family Prep, Marriage in Missions, Culture Shock, Attitudes, and the list goes on!  We are already learning a ton!

The kids are having their own training.  They are having a great time learning about different cultures, foods, people, etc.

When are we going to Haiti?  There are several hurdles in front of us right now (Our current support level, uncertainty over when our container will get out of customs, and a potential 2 week addional class here at CIT for language acquisition).  If all goes well, we plan to arrive in Haiti during the end of March or first week of April.

Relief Update...  It's hard to know where to begin.  Be assured, RMI is aggresively responding.  Medical supply and food distribution have been our primary activity so far.  There are many updates available on RMI's Website.

  Prayer-  Will you pray for us?

Praise for our 1x financial needs being met!

Praise for this opporutunity that we have here at CIT to prepare ourselves.

Praise that apparently our container of all of our belongings is safe in Port-au-Prince.

Pray for our financial support needs to be met.  Pray for the provision of funds for RMI missionaries and ministries, both here in FL and in Haiti.

Pray for us as we continue to transition.  We are finding that we are experiencing many "endings" and "losses" in our life as we say goodbye to life here in the US.
