-In This Issue: Ministry | Support | Prayer Greetings from Rob and Becky, We want you to know how much we appreciate your prayers, friendships and financial donations. A big THANK YOU for your support.
We are moving to Haiti!? Wow, what a whirlwind we find ourselves in. We can't tell you how excited we are. (We are just a little bit nervous as well!) We are raising funds and preparing to move. Kids have their passports. Some of our belongings are being sold off. We are gathering with as many people as we can to share more about our ministry and need for support. There is much to be done before we actually move. Lord willing, assuming the necessary funds are in, here is our planned schedule... Oct 18 - Rob will be preaching at Calvary Baptist in Pemberton, NJ. Oct 16 - 25 - Rob, Becky and family will be attending a missions conference at Linwood Community Church, in Linwood, NJ. November - Potential Trip to Haiti and Chicago, IL. Early December - RMI Board meetings in SW FL. Mid-December - We will be moving to NJ for the end of December and the month of January. We will be packing our necessary belongings into a container and shipping it to Haiti in mid-December. This container will likely take 6-8 weeks to get to Haiti, through customs, and to our future home in Les Cayes, Haiti. We don't want to beat our stuff there. December/January - We will live in NJ through the month of January. We will likely be traveling some during January as we continue to raise funds and visit with family and supporters. February 3-7 We will be attending McGregor Baptist's annual Global Impact Celebration missions conference in Fort Myers, FL. Feb 9 - March 11 We will be at the Center for Intercultural Training in Union Mills, NC for pre-field cross cultural training. March 15ish MOVE TO HAITI!
We are currently at 82% of our monthly need ($1352/month still needed) and 32% of our 1x need ($25,550 still needed). Yes, great progress, but yes, still a ways to go! If you already support us... Thank you! Would you consider an increase in your monthly support? Would you consider an extra special gift to help us meet our 1x needs? Would you consider introducing us to your church, small group, SS class, friends and/or family? If you don't already support us... Would you consider becoming one of our monthly finance and prayer partners? Would you consider a special gift to help us meet our 1x needs?
Praise for the many people who are giving sacrificially, allowing us to serve on the front lines. Praise for all the progress and ministry that is happening within and through RMI throughout the US and Haiti. Pray for our financial support needs to be met. Pray for the provision of funds for RMI missionaries and ministries, both here in FL and in Haiti. Pray for safety and sanity as we travel and clarity in thought related to downsizing, packing up our belongings, and moving to Haiti.
