Rob, I'm not sure why you're excited. Does your XTi use the SDHC? My 300D only uses Compact Flash. You can already buy a Sandisk Extreme IV (40mb/s) 4GB card for $95. That's 1/2 the price and almost exactly the same speed as what the article talks about. And it's been out for about a year! If you used SDHC, I could see how that's exciting... but otherwise, it's not real helpful.s

In other news... on vaca we talked about what it would cost for 1 terabyte of harddrive... I think I guessed over $1k. I was clearly wrong. On the latest Dell flyer I found a 750MB for $175! On B&H Photo I just found a 1TB for $290! Unbelievable!

Thanks for ruining my day. My excited has been abated. I will have to check to see if my xti accepts the sdhc, my guess if you are right on, and it wouldn't work. I hear you on the speed and price, but just think about how many pictures we could take on one card!

Very cool on the TB thing. I might go for it. I need something. I was starting to move my images onto dvd's, and then realized I don't want to move them. I want instant access to all my media. I don't want to have to find the right disc and then navigate to the file. I am pretty lazy aren't I!? I want to be able to tag and search all images instantly.
