Boiled Peanuts...

Southern Delicacy?  I don't think so.  According to wikipedia, Boiled Peanuts are a southern thing.  I had the "pleasure" of trying one, but it wasn't a pleasure or a delicacy at all.  To be honest, I think they are nasty.  Since moving to Florida, we have seen a person selling them on the side of the road many times.  This past week, someone bought them to share.  I tried one, and that was it...

Think of a dripping wet, very salty, mushy and soggy bean.  Don't even try one.  They are not worth it.
