I have finished printing, stuffing, sealing, stamping, our support letter.  I am putting these in the mail today!  Be watching your mailbox… We would love to hear from you! If you do not receive a letter in the next week, you can sign up for our mailing list on our website here . Below is a list of the contents of the mailer.  Each is hyperlinked to it’s online counterpart.  Take a look.  We hope to hear back from you soon!  You can respond online, or you can wait to respond to the mailer. Becky’s Faith is Strong…

Becky looked me right in the eyes and said to me… “Rob, only a miracle will bring the funds in that we need to go to Haiti.  And I believe it is going to happen.” I love having a wife that says stuff like that.  Awesome! "May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us--yes, establish the works of our hands." Ps 90:17 Rob

Feeling Nostalgic

Image
I’m feeling nostalgic this morning.  Braden turned one a few days ago and it’s making me remember when Drew and Tessa turned one as well.  Thought I’d post pics of each of their first birthdays.  It’s fun to compare and see how much they do and don’t look alike.  I think they look so different, yet you can tell that they are siblings.  My heart can’t hold all the love I have for all 3 of them! ~Becky Here’s Drew: Here’s Tessa: And Braden:

Dan and I headed to see Moses in Ft. Pierce.

Braden is ONE!

Braden turned one on Tuesday!  I can’t believe how much he has changed in the past year and how fast it’s gone by.  He was 9 pounds 15 ounces on his birthday and is still in the 95th percentile for weight and height.  He is my big boy!  He was very colicky the first 6 months… so tough.  But now he is the sweetest little boy.  He is such a blessing. We love him to pieces! ~Becky Two pics from his birthday last year:             Pics from his little party this year:

Just posted first items on Craigslist…

Moving to Haiti is going to require us to sell a bunch of stuff!  We will certainly have a huge garage sale, but I thought we would give Craigslist a try.  It seems that it is not quite as active as I have experienced elsewhere, but we’ll see if it works.  If we get some success, I will keep going with Craigslist.  If not, I will just wait until our garage sale. RMI in Haiti Interactive Map

I have been working on this map for a little while.  This is a map that contains the approximate location of RMI’s Sister Churches in Haiti as well as some other points of interest. This map needs the collaboration of others for locations and pictures. Some locations are quite accurate, others are not.  Some pictures have been added, but many more can be added. You will want to click here to truly view the map and make edits.  Have at it… Rob View RMI in Haiti in a larger map

We need you! Seriously, we do…

Would you please consider supporting us on a monthly basis, or giving toward our 1x needs? If you already support us, thank you!  There is no expectation, but if you are able to increase your giving, that would be so helpful. Currently, we need to raise an additional $1945 per month, plus $37,060 in 1x expenses in order to get to Haiti. We need people, like yourself, to join our team and support us financially and prayerfully as we go.  We know it is a great sacrifice.  Yet, we need a team of people that are behind us, standing with us, supporting us, sending us, praying for us, remembering us, encouraging us. If you would like to join our team, please email us and let us know.  If you need further instructions, we can send them to you. One option is for you to give online.  You can give monthly or 1 time via your checking, savings or Credit Card account online at www.rminet.org/donate .  You will receive a receipt and your donation is tax deduct...

Support Update…

Image
Now that we are back from our amazing vacation in NJ with our extended family… the work begins!  I have spent some time today coming up with a plan, and to be honest, it is a bit overwhelming.  This can be done, but only through Him who so powerfully works in and through us. As you can see from the graphic, we need to raise $2085/month plus $38,000 in one time expenses.  The emails, phone calls, and appointments will now happen fast and furious.  So far, one supporter has increased their giving, and although we don’t know how much, we have gained another new supporter.  Woohoo! I have just completed our new Prayer Card.  I can’t wait to unveil it to you.  I know you are all waiting with bated breath. Thank you Suzy for your photography skills! Rob

An Obsessive Precisionist needs your Opinions and Options related to Contact Lists…

Image
I am quite particular about the health, simplicity, usefulness, and organization of my contact list (address book) in my computer (please tell me you don’t still use a rolodex!).  Anyone as obsessive as I am? I want my contacts… …in one place.  I don’t want to have to update my contacts in several places.  When there is a change, I only want to change it in one place. …automatically synced to several machines (Home computer, work computer, iPhone, etc).  …to be synced with my donor software (TNTMPD) …to be filtered or tagged into different groups (Family, Supporters, RMI, General, etc) …to have unlimited Home, Work, Phone, Email fields for each listing. …shared. I have found that most of my desires are taken care of with Google Contacts .  There are still some limitations that need to be updated in Google Contacts, but it is a far step above other options. So, here are my questions for you all… Do you know of a good solution...

Drew threw up...

...2 hours into our 3 day drive! All over the back seat! Ugh! Sent from my Mobile.

On the road again!
