"Widowmaker" Shower

Believe it or not, this is a shower head!  This picture was taken by our missionaries, Enrique and Chrissie Coreano.  Did you know these are very common overseas?  I guess our missionaries have had to use these regularly.  Does that look a little unnerving or what?  I guess there is some sort of heating element in the shower head that is powered by electricity.  I guess I would do it, but wow, I would be oh so tentative!  I wonder why it is called a widowmaker?

Talk about an energizing shower! I might just take mine cold. At least in Haiti the heaters tend to be gas and away from your shower!

That picture is just "shocking"! :)

Rob, I'm surprised you didn't write that one!

Watt, you think I use puns? Let me shower you with a jolt of reality. I really am not very much into wiring pun after pun into conversation. Now you got me all amped up!

Rob, glad to hear you don't sprinkle your conversations with electrifying puns but just go with the flow. I know Dan subjects everyone to a constant battery of puns, flooding the conversation with puns of every amplitude. As you are conducting your ministry, you are immersed in his presence now, so you might as well stay current. Resistance is futile!

I used one of these in Nicaragua. The scariest part was that there was a seperate circuit breaker for it that you had to flip on each time you wanted to use it. It was located near the ceiling in the shower stall. So, one had to stand on the toilet, reach into the shower and flip the breaker. It was nuts!
